Paul Properties Real Estate is a boutique real estate firm located in Irmo, SC. We have been in the real estate business for over 20 years. We strive to provide exceptional service to our buyers and sellers, to give them the best experience we know they deserve.
Paul Properties mission is to help families and investors in the midlands buy and sell real estate in an evolving market. We merge our experience and ability to think outside the box to create a winning strategy for your personalized needs. Prompt communication and action means we will have your property looking its best and sold in no time.
Who are the brains behind the scenes? Paul Properties is a family owned Real Estate business founded by Jesse ‘Paul’ Grote. Owning his own company gives him the freedom he needs to work creatively for his clients. He is an entrepreneur at heart and has been working in the Real Estate market for over 20 years. Jesse is the broker in charge at Paul Properties. A Real Estate Broker is simply a veteran Real Estate Agent that completes additional training to start their own firm. We pride ourselves in remaining a small firm who only hires the best agents within the local Midlands region. We currently have several agents on our team and utilize each other’s skills and talents to make sure our clients’ are paired with the best agent to meet their needs.
What’s your business philosophy? You won’t see our face on a billboard or a park bench. We would rather provide such great service to our clients that word of mouth referrals expands our business. We may buy and sell properties every day, but chances are you only do this a few times in your lifetime. That is why we teach you throughout the process, so that you understand what is going on and aren’t just blindly going through the transaction. We like to communicate with our clients so that there are no surprises throughout the process. We are very transparent with our clients, since there is no use glossing over the truth only for your house to sit on the market longer than it should, or loosing multiple offers. We consider ourselves excellent problem solvers, which is an advantage during the negotiation process. At times when most agents would think a deal is dead, we will dig deeper to think outside the box for ideas to make a deal survive.
What is a Ramsey Trusted ELP? An ‘ELP’ is an ‘Endorsed Local Provider’. It is a term that Dave Ramsey uses for the service providers that he recommends. Dave’s team does thorough research to find the best providers in each zip code, throughout the US. Only the top 5% of real estate agents, with a proven track record, are considered and interviewed for the program. What will make my property stand out? In today’s digital world, we realize the importance of placing an emphasis on your properties web presence. We take high quality photos that are listed on multiple sites like the MLS®, Realtor.com, and Zillow. Buyers will see your house for the very first time online, so we want to give it that amazing first impression. Before the photo shoot we will provide you with detailed tips and pointers to optimize the look of your property.
Who is Paul? That is our broker in charge, Jesse ‘Paul’ Grote. Paul is a family name and Paul Properties has a nice ring to it. If you accidentally call him Paul don’t worry, lots of people do it!
What type of experience and success rates do you have? Since inception our clients properties on average went under contract in less than 30 days, but in the current market its usually a lot quicker than that. Jesse has been working in Real Estate since 2004. He began by purchasing distressed properties to flip or hold as rental investments. He started his own real estate firm in 2014.
What areas do you cover? Any areas that the Columbia Multiple Listing service covers. This includes all of Richland and Lexington County and other areas of the Midlands like Chapin, West Columbia, Hopkins, Camden, Aiken, and Newberry. We have sold many lake houses and service Lake Murray, Lake Monticello, and Lake Wateree. We also know great agents in most areas of the state and would love to make that introduction!
What about giving back? The Paul Properties firm believes that giving back is an important part of making our local community a better place. That is why Paul Properties donates part of its proceeds to a few select charities that are close to our heart. Not everyone in Columbia can afford decent housing so in addition to giving to their local church, Jesse and his wife, Jessica, select local charities that help women and children attain housing and financial stability.
